System agnostic

Build connected lore and session notes around homebrew, narrative play, or another ruleset. Dedicated mechanics are not required to begin a world.

Before you begin

A few useful answers.

Can I build without choosing a ruleset?

Yes. System-agnostic worldbuilding lets you organize lore, connections, and session notes for homebrew or narrative play.

Are D&D 2014 and 2024 separate?

Yes. They are separate system choices. Choose the edition your campaign uses and check that the references you need belong to that edition.

Does every system have the same tools?

No. Rules references, character tools, and session tools have different levels of coverage. Check the current feature status and the options available in your account before relying on a tool for play.
