For creators

Build something
another table can inhabit.

Give a GM more than pages to read. Create memorable people, places with pressure, and connections that invite a party to do something unexpected.

The city that
lost tomorrow

A strange city. A missing hour. A reason to go looking.

Start with the situation

The bell rings early. Nobody agrees on the time. The party has somewhere to begin.

No account needed. Example lore only.

A world with a way in, a reason to care, and room to play.

Sound familiar?

The friction between
an idea and a great session.

Start with the part you want to make easier.

01

“How do I make this easier to run?”

Connected worldbuilding

Start with the immediate situation. Put the people involved, what they want, and the relevant places within reach.

02

“What does another GM need from me?”

Readable, linked lore

Offer clear entry points and motivations. Let them see how a location connects to the people and pressures around it.

03

“When can I publish and sell it?”

Creator rollout

The marketplace is in beta and creator tools are still in development. Build your world now and follow the creator rollout for publishing availability.

Built for the table

Make the next session
worth remembering.

01

Create for real play

Make the material useful at the moment a player asks a question. A readable reference can matter more than another chapter.

02

Keep it original

Use material you own or have permission to publish. Record the licenses for anything you bring into the work.

03In development

Follow the publishing rollout

Creator tools are still being built. Explore the current marketplace and beta information before planning a release.

Before you begin

A few useful answers.

Can I start creating now?

Yes. Build the world and its connected lore with the worldbuilding tools. Publishing and selling depend on the creator tools available during the rollout.

Does creating an account publish my world?

No. Creating a world does not make it a marketplace listing. Decide what to share and review publishing requirements when they are available to you.

Does my world stay mine?

Yes. Your lore belongs to you. Export your world in Markdown or JSON when you need a copy outside Skryrún.

Start with something small

One place. One person. One possibility.

You don’t need a finished world to begin. Give the first idea a home and see where it leads.

Chronicler is free. Grow when your world needs more room.
