What could make the submerged doorway feel unsettling?

The water beyond the threshold is perfectly still. When Maren speaks, her reflection turns toward Brindle.

A possibility to explore. You decide what the reflection means.

Your judgment makes it yours.

No account needed. Example lore only.

A starting point you can question, rewrite, or leave behind.

Sound familiar?

The friction between
an idea and a great session.

Start with the part you want to make easier.

01

“I’m staring at the same blank paragraph.”

Lore generation

Ask for a possibility, a complication, or a character detail. Use the part that sparks something and write the rest yourself.

02

“This sounds like every other fantasy town.”

World-aware creative help

Bring your setting’s tone and constraints to the question. Refine the suggestion until it feels like somewhere your players would recognize.

03

“Who did I connect to this faction?”

Runekeeper

Ask the Runekeeper about your world and use your lore as the starting point for the next scene.

Built for the table

Make the next session
worth remembering.

01

Use it when you want it

Write, connect, and run your world without AI. Creative assistance is optional.

02

Ask within your world

Develop ideas with the lore you have already written in mind.

03

Choose what becomes lore

Review generated drafts. Your judgment, edits, and decisions give the world its voice.

Before you begin

A few useful answers.

Is this a live AI demo?

No. These are written examples of creative questions and possible directions. They do not call an AI service or spend Runes.

How are AI tools paid for?

Accounts receive a monthly Rune allowance. AI actions use Runes; see Pricing for current allowances and options. You can keep building without using AI.

Does my world stay mine?

Yes. Your lore belongs to you. Export your world in Markdown or JSON when you need a copy outside Skryrún.

Start with something small

One place. One person. One possibility.

You don’t need a finished world to begin. Give the first idea a home and see where it leads.

Chronicler is free. Grow when your world needs more room.
