Brindle needs more than company.

Someone beyond the doorway is keeping the river from rising. Brindle hopes Maren will help, but has not shown her what it will cost.

What the party sees

Still undiscovered

Choose “Share the place” above to reveal the location in this example.

No account needed. Example lore only.

The party gets a discovery. You keep the surprise.

Sound familiar?

The friction between
an idea and a great session.

Start with the part you want to make easier.

01

“How do I share this without the spoiler?”

Visibility controls

Choose the lore your players can see and keep GM notes private. Reveal a place when the characters reach it.

02

“What was that person’s name again?”

Searchable player lore

Give the party somewhere to revisit the people and places they know, without waiting for you to find the old message.

03

“The world disappears between game nights.”

Campaign portal

Share a portal that the group can return to. Their discoveries become a place to explore before the next session.

Built for the table

Make the next session
worth remembering.

01

Reveal at your pace

Choose what to share as the story unfolds. GM-only lore remains private.

02

Give discoveries a home

Shared locations, characters, and factions are easier to return to than a trail of chat messages.

03

Invite the table in

Players can join their campaign without a paid subscription. Companion access and signed-in campaign access serve different views.

Before you begin

A few useful answers.

Do players need a paid plan?

No. Invited players do not need a paid subscription. A campaign account gives access to their player view; the session companion also supports a shared link.

Is the portal only on paid plans?

No. Plan limits and beta access are separate. The player portal is included across plans, including Chronicler, when available to your account during beta.

Does this example publish anything?

No. This page is an interactive illustration. Its reveal controls do not change a real world or send anything to players.

Start with something small

One place. One person. One possibility.

You don’t need a finished world to begin. Give the first idea a home and see where it leads.

Chronicler is free. Grow when your world needs more room.
